This past weekend Kimble's had the honor of catering the 20th Black Tie & Boots Fundraiser for West Georgia Technical College. The menu for the evening included a myriad of dishes including Mini Beef Wellingtons with Horseradish Sauce, Mac and Cheese Bites, Bacon Wrapped Sirloin Bites, Mozzarella Basil Bruschetta, Smoked Gouda Chicken in Cremini Mushroom Sauce, Beef Tips in a Sherrie Mushroom Sauce, Asparagus with Hollandaise Sauce, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Spinach Salad with Sliced Strawberries and Goat Cheese with Balsamic Dressing, and Stuffed Vegan Portabella Mushrooms.
The Black Tie & Boots fundraiser is a plated dinner event combined with a country music concert. In previous years, the fundraiser has even hosted artists such as Wynonna, Blake Shelton, Little Big Town, Tracy Lawrence, and Kellie Pickler to name a few. This year the event was held at LaGrange's own Callaway Conference Center and featured country music artist Mitchell Tenpenny.
The goal of this years fundraiser was to bring in $100,000 of funding for the West Georgia Technical College Foundation. The WGTC Foundation is responsible for supporting students by providing gap funding, need-based scholarships, and much more.
We were so lucky to be a part of this spectacular event for a wonderful cause. Thank you West Georgia Technical College for allowing Kimble's Catering to be part of such a fun night. It was certainly an unforgettable evening with delicious food!
