Kimble's Cookbook: Homemade Chicken Pot Pie

Here at Kimble's, we love making delicious food for our customers and we felt like it wouldn't be right to keep all of this goodness to ourselves. That's why, in 2018, the Kimble's crew teamed up with the United Way of West Georgia, Inc. to publish "Cooking With Kimble's Food By Design: Good People Sharing Good Food!" This was a way for our team to begin sharing some of our best recipes with one another, and now we want to share them with you! We hope you enjoy making it as much as we do.

Today, we are highlighting a recipe that brings about feelings of nostalgia and tradition. Kimble's Homemade Chicken Pot Pie is a simple recipe that will have your friends and family full, happy, and begging for more.

Homemade Chicken Pot Pie

4 Chicken Breasts

1 box of Chicken Broth

1 can Cream of Chicken Soup

2 cans of Veg-All (or substitute for vegetables of your choice)

2 cups All Purpose Flour

1 & 1/2 cups Milk

Boil chicken in chicken broth until completely done. Drain and shred chicken. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Combine cream of chicken with vegetables and cooked chicken, then pour into baking dish. In a separate bowl, mix flour and milk (adding more milk to make the mixture slightly soupy) to make the crust. Pour crust mixture over chicken mixture in baking dish. Bake until the crust is golden brown!
